Hi Nicole,
Thanks very much for your contribution on the Mind Movie. This must be serendipity! As I write, I am in the process of completing my very own mind move. It is a lot of fun making such movie. I highly recommend it.
As for the question,"what do I really want?" Well, the answer can be quite simple. If all contraints and reasons were removed from your life, what is the one thing you would love to do that transports you into another realm such that you lose all track of time. This activity engages all of you and you relish in it. If you happen to be talented at it, it is even better. This could be the one 'song' you would dearly love to sing before you meet your Creator. For some it could be to write a book, for others it could be to end hunger and poverty in the world (like Bono) and some like to entertain kids with magic tricks and make them laugh. What is your purpose? It does not matter how small or big it is, it just has to be right for you and you know it when you are there. There will be peace and joy emanating from your heart and it will "feel right". You will get a sense that there is nowhere to go and nothing to do. Your heart is full and you are content. These are just some sign posts to guide you along your true purpose.
Regarding the trim tummy, I think you have given me a terrific suggestion to put up a blog on trimming the 'abs and thighs' in a section called Gym-tactics. Watch out for this to come your way soon!
Cheers,
Giselle

I think nurturing one's spirit is possibly the most important and the hardest. How many of us really know what our passions are? And even if we do, do we know how to fulfil them?
"What do I really want?" is a question I used to ask myself a bit too often, particularly when contemplating a new job. I think this is a sign of not living my passion (yet).
One technique I have found that truly inspires me, and I use it daily (morning and night) now, is a so-called Mind Movie. It's basically a way of making a list of all the things you'd like to be, do and have in your life. It helps you to visualise these things, and it is amazing how much more directed and centered my days have become since I made mine.
It is basically a simple collection of text and images, accompanied by music. All ingredients are chosen by you, and thus become very powerful.
http://www.mindmovieblog.com/ explains it nicely. You can buy their tool, or just use a movie editor or even powerpoint to create your own version. Give it a go - it might just work for you as much as it does for me!
As for a topic I would like more expansion on - well, number three - how do I get that trim tummy, Giselle? Any recommended exercises? Lots of sit-ups?
Thanks for your articles, and keep them coming!
